e have recently redesigned our newsletter The Historian. After we put out the March 2009 issue, several members of the Publication Committee took a long and hard look at our newsletter and literally dozens of newsletters put out by other organizations. Our goal was to determine how to keep or improve what was good about the current design, and make any changes that would better serve our readership. Thanks to the talents of Kathleen Paluch and Nick Dorochoff, we arrived at a design which is more open and flexible than past issues, and better suited to the kinds of information typically included in The Historian.
