HOUSE TOUR NEWS!

The great success onHouse Tour Sunday was the result of wonderful people working hard - and smart. Our members were glad to see us up and running with this again. Everyone had a great time. The weather was ideal. A genuinely successful effort!

President Jonathan Dixon sent thanks for all of the help that each one of the many volunteers contributed.

Special acknowledgement goes to Glenna Eaves (who has worked on the tour for nine months, as the 2007 Fall Tour fell through,) and an energetic and innovative new Board member, Maribeth Brewer, both instrumental in organizing and making it happen.

The final numbers on attendance and contributions will come a little later -- we did great in that respect, but especially in the fact that we showed that the Society is still a going concern, that our members are very loyal, and that we're on the move!
