Edna was the wife of Robert D. Arnow.

Along with her husband, Bob, the couple had a ceramics studio at 1405 W. Lunt Avenue. Their work was shown at the Art Institute of Chicago and they won recognition throughout the midwest.

Edna Arnow and her husband Bob had two daughters, Maureen Banner (born in 1946) and Patricia (born in 1949), and a son, Michael (born in 1947) who attended Lane Technical High School. Bob also had a brother, Harold who lives in San Francisco.

Artistic talent permeated the Arnow family. Daughter Maureen designed jewelry, pottery, and some nifty hanging brass lamps. Daughter Pat was a photographer. Maureen's husband does brass work. Harold was a photographer. Daughter Pat's partner, Susan Shimansky, designs jewelry.
