On Monday, April 29, 1878, the first election for village officers was held, resulting in the choice of the following Trustee: Andrew B. Jackson

Andrew B. Jackson was the first President of the Village of Rogers Park in 1878 and re-elected in 1879.

Andrew B. Jackson was a member of the Rogers Park Building and Land Company. He built his home in 1873 at 7053 N. Ridge Avenue.

Andrew B. Jackson was the original owner (1890) of 1921 W. Morse Avenue, the Hopp House. (1992 Annual Fall House Tour).

Andrew B. Jackson was the original owner (1900) of 1955 W. Morse Avenue, the Olsen House. (1992 Annual Fall House Tour).

Andrew B. Jackson was the original owner (1873) of 7053 N. Ridge Boulevard was (approximately) 3850 Ridge Street, was the Thomas Jackson residence, circa 1980. This was the Brown House in 1993. Included in the 1992-1993 Rogers Park/West Ridge Historical Tour, and the 1993 Annual Fall House Tour.

There is a rumor that James B. Jackson was one of the sons of Andrew B. Jackson builder of the landmark home at 7053 N. Ridge Boulevard. But, this needs further investigation.
