Dr. Colleen Taylor Sen is married to Dr. Ashish Sen. They live at 2557 W. Farwell Avenue.

Dr. Colleen Taylor Sen was Director, LNG Resources, at the Gas Technology Institute, (IGT) headquartered in Des Plaines, Illinois. Prior to this, she held various positions during her 25-year service at IGT.

She is responsible for all IGT’s LNG-related information and educational activities, including developing and chairing courses and symposia. She is founder and managing editor of the bimonthly The LNG Observer, author of An Overview of the Global Baseload LNG Industry: Markets, Projects, Economics; and co-editor of The World LNG Source Book and Overview of the Global LNG Shipping Industry.

Dr. Sen was a member of the Steering Committee of LNG 13, which was held in Seoul, Korea, in 2001. She holds a Honors B.A. and M.A. in Slavik Studies from the University of Toronto and a PhD in Slavic Languages from Columbia University.

Colleen is a regular contributor to such publications as Travel and Leisure, Food Arts, the Chicago Sun Times, the Chicago Tribune, the Christian Science Monitor, and the Globe and Mail.
