Floating Divisions Soundex Code D125

Floating Divisions was one attempt to deal with the overcrowding of Philip Rogers School in the 1950s. During a normal school day, various classes would leave their classrooms for activities elsewhere. While they were gone, the "floating division" would move into those classrooms and conduct classes until the original group returned. At which point they went to another temporarily vacant classroom to continue their lessons.
