Formerly employed by St. Louis, Missouri branch of C. Rogers & Brothers, silverware manufacturers, Meriden, Connecticut;

removed to Chicago, 1896, and continued with same company;

established, 1904, the Nye Tool & Machine Works, Incorporated, 1907, and president and treasurer, same.
