Jacob Phillipp

Jacob Phillipp, had emigrated seven years earlier in 1842. In 1849, 25-year-old Peter Schmidt, Jr. married 17-year-old Elizabeth Phillipp (a.k.a. Phillippi, or Phillips) born in 1832. She was the daughter of farmer Jacob. Jacob ultimately owned several tracts of land at Ridge and Touhy, as well as a flour and feed store in Ridgeville.
