Kilbourn Park (Milwaukee Avenue to the north, Belmont Avenue to the south, the Union Pacific/Northwest rail line to the east, and Cicero Avenue to the west) is a primarily middle-class residential and industrial area. Although technically part of the Community Area 16 Irving Park, the neighborhood is more akin to neighboring Community Area 21 Avondale in terms of both its built environment and the sociology of its residents.
