Mary Ferguson, nee: Mary Cleghorn, was born in Detroit, Michigan on December 25, 1856. She moved to, and was living in Muskegon, Michigan where she married William Ferguson on Thursday, November 25, 1875. She resided in Chicago for 22 years, 16 of which were spent in Rogers Park, leaving there after the retirement of William Ferguson to take up residence in Crystal Lake, Illinois, where she resided until this last October.

Children: Hugh Daniel Ferguson, William Ferguson-2, Margaret Ferguson, May Ferguson, and Bessie Ferguson.

Mrs. William Ferguson, widow of the late William Ferguson, formerly of the Ferguson and Lange Foundry Company, passed away in Birmingham, Alabama Monday, April 7, 1919, morning. She was born in Detroit, Michigan.She resided in Chicago for 22 years, 16 of which were spent in Rogers Park, leaving there after the retirement of William Ferguson to take up residence in Crystal Lake, Illinois, where she resided until this last October. Three daughters and two sons survive her. Hugh D. Ferguson of Chicago; William O. Ferguson of Indianapolis, Indiana.

The daughters Margaret Ferguson, May Ferguson, and Bessie Ferguson are listed by their married names where they used their husband's name, hence, there's no list to tell us which married name corresponds to which maiden name. The married names were: Mrs. Herman Schiffin of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Mrs. Grover R. Mueller of Birmingham, Alabama; and Mrs. Trig F. Schneider of Crystal Lake, Illinois
