When the widow of James Fox Hickey, Mary Ward Masterson Hickey remarried, she chose Philip McGregor Rogers, becoming Mary Ward Rogers.
In 1854, their only daughter, Catherine Rogers was born. Her brother, Philip Rogers, Jr. followed in 1856.
