Masonic Temple Soundex Code M252

There were two Masonic Temples in Rogers Park.

The first was located at northwest corner of Lunt Avenue and Clark Street in the early 1890s.

The second was located at 1716 W. Morse Avenue.

RPWRHS photo R044-0208 shows a clipping from an unknown newspaper about the laying of the cornerstone ceremony for the second Masonic Temple at 1716 W. Morse Avenue on an unknown date.

RPWRHS photo R044-0220 shows the first of the two Masonic Temples in Rogers Park and was located on the northwest corner of Lunt and Clark. In the early 1890s this was in the main building of the Doland Block.
