Philip Joseph McKenna, lawyer,

born at: Mt. Trenchard, Foynes, Limerick, Ireland, on Wednesday, December 10, 1862.

son of: James McKenna and Margaret McKenna, nee: Margaret Sheahan.

education: National schools of Ireland, private schools in Limerick and Cork and literature course at St. Michael's College, Listowel, Ireland;

came to America, in February, 1883;

studied at Chicago-Kent Law School and Northwestern University Law School;

married: Joanna E. McKenna, nee: Joanna E. Richardson of Escanaba, Michigan, on Tuesday, February 14, 1888;

children: Harold V. McKenna, Ethel Mary McKenna, Blanche Lucile McKenna, Philip Joseph McKenna, Jr., Arthur Anthony McKenna, Ruth Ester McKenna, and Roger R. McKenna.

Admitted to Illinois bar, 1899, and since practiced at Chicago,

Member Illinois State Bar Association and Chicago Bar Association.
