Sunset Bowl and Health Club, 7304 N. Western Avenue was open all night on Fridays and Saturdays and was usually filled until 4:00 a.m. with teen-age boys recounting the adventures of their dates, as well as serious bowlers who competed against each other in high-stakes games.
