Mr. and Mrs. Walter R. Ceperly, Jr. of Highland Park, Illinois announce the engagement of their daughter, Linda Barclay Ceperly, to Douglas Becktel Smith, son of the H. Becktel Smiths of Ridgefield, Connecticut. Miss Ceperly is a senior at Pembroke College and her fiance attends Brown University. A summer wedding is planned.
